Please let us apologize for the Blogs being so sporadic ----- and there will be no new Blogs posted, either on the Parent site or the Youth Christian site until possibly the end of September of this year as our Blog wirter and lead Psychologist has had some major surgery done on her arm and typing is a a "no-no" for a while.

We are very excited to let every one know that Sept, 09 we will begin running seminars out at the Blood Tribe in Stand Off Alberta.  Woking with children in schools from K to 12 grades we will start to run seminars on self esteem, bullying, substance abuse, and conduct and behavior disorders and how you can get a handle on this behaviors.   

Also in the same month we will be offering parenting seminars on the reservation, with a new seminar starting every three months.

Last but certainly not least we are working with the tribal police associations on dealing with sucidal ideation of clients helping them to deal with these special client needs and recognizing the signs of those clients with these ideations that are not expressed.  How to handle these special needs and clients.

Please feel free to contact us about joining any or all of these seminars, or bringing your school age children out for the seminars. 

If your school, or adults of your students are interested in having these programs run in your schools, and for your parents, please let us know as soon as possible and we will work with you to bring these programs out to your schools as well.

One other thing we forgot to pop in here, but a new Christian youth group is starting out the second Saturday of September and if you are between the ages of 12 to 17 and would like to join us out in Fort McCleod, just give us a call on the toll free number listed up in our logo and we will book you in ----- lots of activities and new skills being taught, such as music programs and being a part of a Praise and Worsip Band.  You are more than welcome to join us, just give us a call and we will be glad to give you all the information you need..
