'the KEY' is a division of SACYA and is the component that reachess out to our adolescent population meeting their Spiritual and religious instructional needs.
It is our sincere hope that we can conduct Praise and Worship Services, along with teaching and guiding youth through the Word of GOD. Assisting them in developing a real and right relationship with Jesus Christ.
'the KEY' is non denominational with its only requirement being the true teachings of the Word of GOD and upholding HIS Commandents as taught to each of us in the Holy Bible.
We hope to offer services on Saturday afternoons/evenings and also to conduct study groups on Wednesday nights.
The mandate for 'the KEY' is to raise up disciples who raise up disciples.
We are looking forward to conducting missions trips to our sister church in Bhutan, which is a part of our international organization.
You would be required to be a full time member in good standing of 'the KEY' before you would be considered a candidate to participate in a missions trip.
Part of being a member in good standing is your faithful attendance and adherence to the church's beliefs and rules of conduct, such as living a life that adheres to the commandments of the LORD, tithing, and being willing to learn to preach, teach, and reach out to the other youth in the community by expressing your faith and living it, not just 'living' it when it is comfortable.
It is our intention to also teach members to play musical instruments and eventually being able to record original music, selling CD's to raise money for missions trips and the running of the home church. If you are all ready an accomplished musician and would like to try out for a spot on the Praise and Worship team, please contact us as we are looking for a "house band" that can travel with us and do shows, concerts, and be an active part in spreading the Word of GOD.
Members in good standing will also be offerred summer employment in various aspects of SACYA as well as part time employment throughout the year as jobs become available.
We hope to open 'the KEY' by mid Jan. '09 in Claresholm Alberta if we can find a suitable building and obtain the town's permission to conduct a youth church in town under these guidelines and mandates.
If you are interested in being a part of this new and dynamic church, please contact Pastor Cam at 1-888-625-3176.
Keep checking in with the web site and we will keep you informed as to when we will have 'the KEY' up and operatingl Hope you are all as excited as we are.
