 FACE TO FACE (Live Chat) COUNSELING SERVICE

Hello everyone! 

We have decided to change up this phase of our services to you, our customer, clients, friends.

We were finding that the previous form of "live chat" was not working as well as we had first hoped it would.  There were a great deal of technological difficulties associated with this particular venue.

In the interest of offering this valuable service to each of you we are going to go through SKYPE and ask only that you remain patient, as we are looking to start this service in May 2009. 

Along with the 'live chat forum'  we are also going to start the youth church on line 'the KEY', also using SKYPE we are going to have an interactive church service for youth where we can all talk about your concerns, questions, and thoughts on the Word of GOD and walk through this amazing Book inspired by the LORD Himself. 

Please watch the blog for SACYA and 'the KEY' as we keep you updated to the start of the interactive service.  Come on along and enjoy coming to church in a brand new way.  Look us up sometime in the middle of May and pull up a chair, and join us.  Glad to have you. 

 

SACYA is still pleased to offer the service of on line therapy to all interested customers please just contact us through this site or directly through email at doccam@sacya.com or sacya@telus.net  and we will be more than happy to set up a time to meet and talk.

This would be exactly like going to a therapists office and having a one on one meeting with your therapist. 

Through the use of SKYPE, we are able to offer family counseling sessions; individual counseling sessions, and 'group' therapy for the family that can not afford the time or expense of attending either the residential or in house programs. 

These counseling services will work best if you, as the client, have web camera's available to you, but if you do not, you will still be able to speak to the therapist and view them as if you were viewing them on a television screen.  Your questions would have to be "typed" in but our responses will be in live real time. 

We are able to conduct the entire therapy process that is offered through a more traditional settting, but with the excitement of the updated internet experience. 

Scheduled therapy sessions will be set up and appointments kept just as they would be if you were attending an office appointment. 

Therapy sessions will be offered to the adolescent and also to the parents on an individual basis, and as with all of our programs there will be sessions that are jointly conducted with all interested and involved parties.  We at SACYA believe that all persons in the family are impacted by the negative disorders and inappropriate behaviours displayed by the adolescent. 

The exciting part of this new programming is that it is very cost effective and does not seperate the family. 

Respite care is still available to any family that requires and requests this service, but there is an additional cost for respite care.

Face to Face (live chat) services are billed by credit card only.  If a credit card is not available then payment into the SACYA account, or pay pal must be posted before sessions can commence.

We are looking forward to serving you in any possible way that we can, and help you achieve a successful outcome to your current situations.  SACYA believes strongly in reconcilliation and healing for each family member, and we wish you to also understand that those children who display these inappropriate and distructive behaviours are NOT Bad Kids, it is the behavior and resulting outcome that is 'bad'.    That can be fixed, there is hope and laughter and joy can be a part of your daily lives once again.
